While the staff in the Bell Hotel,Norwich branch are efficient, helpful and friendly, but once the business goes into the 'Santander System' it is a different story- extra-long waiting times to connect by phone to agents with garbled accents and poor connections, who seem to be reading from scripts rather than listening and responding to what they are being told. Then on Day 3, I was pleased when a fairly helpful agent called to say everything was sorted, but when I went back to the Bell next day to finish my business ... Surprise! Surprise!! We were back at Square One! Fortunately after a few more hours of diligent work on the phone by the staff, starting from the beginning over and over again, they were able to make the transfer I had tried unsuccessfully to do several days before. So I have wasted the better part of my week, run up extra costs, had considerable Inconvenience and more than enough stress ... Maybe it's time to shop around for slightly better service?
